L. Brooke Bowman

L. Brooke Bowman is a Madison County native. She obtained a B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky in 2003, graduating Summa cum ladue. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she earned top honors as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Brooke was a staff member of the Kentucky Law Journal.

Brooke’s practice focuses on litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury and family law. She is frequently appointed by the Madison and Clark Family Courts as an advocate for children. In addition, she practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, as well as real property and contract disputes. Brooke is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Madison County Bar Association, where she recently served as President. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern, and Western, Districts of Kentucky, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Brooke also serves on the City of Richmond Board of Ethics.

 In addition, Brooke has been honored by her peers with a BV® Distinguished Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, the second highest possible recognition by Martindale-Hubbell® for her legal skill and ethical integrity.
